not long to go

No new pictures has been pretty wet as I making my way south for ferry in gothenburg. Stopped off with swedes again on way back their washer and drier work very well so I have clean things again.
I am in Falun at the moment and its lots of drizzle. am nearly out of chain wax and i brought a whole big can of it brand new.
Yesterday i took wrong turn and headed back north for 100k or so but the road was so twisty i not care.
anyway i have to be in gothenburg by saturday to get ferry sunday morning.

I'm such an idiot! Can't beleive....

Well 2 days spent driving down northern fjords in Norway in the rain. Overnighted in Tromss. Crossed back into Sweden yesterday was a bit tired when I checked into motel. Went looking for pizza came back realised I not oil chain. Went to get can of lube then as i was rolling bike back to get more of chain I noticed bird poo so I reached to flick off without thinking and overbalanced bike and dropped on right handside. Scuffed up lower fairing snapped off blob from footpeg. Did the whole futile grab at bar thing and windmill but only slowed down inevitable. Can't beleive i did something so dumb. Then on picking up noticed oil dripping from underneath from hose. Can't remember what it's for but am thinking not overflow for oil. Bike has once or twice dropped itself down a cog in 6th but now am beginning to wonder if when I got service done some eco friendly pish oil was used and clutch slip. Also if too much was puting and it drip out some condensation overflow hence drip out hose. Drives ok but am bit paranoid is not much oil so should be ok to get home. Can't beleive i dropped it in car park. I been down gravel tracks and all sorts of crap over here and 1 lapse of concentration. Fuckingfuck!

Arctic Explorer!

Swedes were very hospitable and looked after me good style. I did massively tiring 800km run from Luleå in Sweden and shot Across tip of Finland which was a bit hairy as I nearly hit a moose! I tried take pictures of it but i have not zoom. ironic eh? They in the photos of sweden I just updated the lot. Am in Alta at the moment.
This is me at the Nordkapp so am Arctic explorer now! most northern point on continental europe google it. Was very cold and windy
These are reindeer which get in the way of the zoom...I had this sudden fear that they would think the mirrors on bike were antlers and there be like fireblade v reindeer fight. It's like that show Northen Exposure. Note to self: get the ringtone.

Sushi!

Today is raining! But as it happens I am visit with swedish players of Guildwars Clan. They are making sushi and I will be eating it with sticks as is a local bylaw apparently. So no biking days lost hope it does not mean it's a long spell of rain :(

I'm knackered already!!

This is a bridge for crossing a lake...there are lots of lakes in sweden and lots of bridges. I'm in Umeä at the moment I bike for 3 days about 300 miles each I lost track since switched clocks to Kilometers.

This is Mr. Dårcies house, the swedish one. Has pond and everything....I never took a dip though. There was a wedding lunch and load of swedish dudes wanted look at bike. Bridesmades and stuff were not amused either because they get ignored or there the risk of dirty nice clothes.

This be one of said lakes....more pics off the link not taken that many but not been any wow moments or maybe I just get complacent these days. I go visit some Swedes tomorrow and I also had some meatballs and stuff yesterday.

This is Sweden

This is Sweden. I'm going there on the Ferry from Newcastle to Gothenburg on the 11th come back 28th/29th I forget which.
Will be taking the cbr1000rr and zooming around. Not entirely sure how I will fit stuff into bag. Is filled up already and I just put in stuff to take care of bike. Still I have 1 pair camouflage underpants so should get by.
